WORLD

In a world increasingly defined by connectivity, the flow of information through social networks shapes not only public opinion but collective behavior and policy. From viral memes to coordinated disinformation, these networks function less like static diagrams and more like living ecosystems, where information behaves more like contagion or currency than stable fact.

This project shifts focus from what information means to how it moves. It studies the architectures of virality: the patterns, nodes, and protocols that govern transmission. Drawing on analyses of trending hashtags and their diffusion mechanics, the work repurposes these same mathematical models to construct a performative system.

By revealing these hidden dynamics, the installation reveals the digital sphere not as a neutral zone but as a meticulously choreographed theatre of attention, one that shapes perception while remaining largely unseen.

At its center lies an interactive installation, a speculative cartography of an imagined city, rendered as a breathing network. Here, the audience becomes both observer and catalyst. Presence activates nodes. Voices flare, overlap, dissolve. Conversations bloom into algorithmic choruses of synthetic speech.
